Thread: SEO - 5 Google Algorithm Changes

I read this statement where someone is sharing what Google Algorithm changes he want to see. I thought of sharing it to make members aware of it and to make sure to take precaution when doing any SEO strategies. Who knows the next Google Algorithm might be based on any of these. So please be careful.

Many people are still using article spinner. I don't like to use article spinner, but I would like to know on how many article sites can I publish my same article? Is submitting same article on 2 or 3 sites fine. A year ago, I used to submit single article in almost 100 article directories.

For on-page quality- I still have doubts!!

I am working on multiple websites and hence experiment differently with different sites. On one of my site, I prepared meta-title and description in very strict format finishing description within 180 characters and title in 70 charac without any unncessary repetition of keywords.
While for other site I have title of 85 characters and description of 230 characters with deliberate repetition of important keywords. The keywords of my 2nd site is on better ranks while 1st site has not much improvement.

May be it depends on the competition of the keyword you are ranking.

As for the article submission to directories I am planning to post my articles to only the directories that are good in Google eyes. Previously I was also doing like you, posting one article to 100directories. But now I am targeting only the best one.

No I have 2 sub-domains with same keywords but different region specific. But what I think is it is still better to keep the meta-title and description in a little spammy way otherwise Google won't pull our websites, but will pull up those who have repeated their keywords.

I am not sure if I am wrong, but I still see websites with title over 100 characters and description over 300 on good ranks.

Google has become very smart when it comes to examining what is actually going on pages of websites. Content seems to be the real reason why many websites are doing greatly while many others have experienced drops in ranks. The latest Google major updates have decreased rankings of many sites with duplicate contents.

If you are trying to add new contents to your website, try writing good copies and for the real audience and forget about search engines. Stay away from using copied materials from article directories and other blogs because presence of copied materials on websites these days can be the reason why rankings can drop quickly.

As an SEO help other SEO's not go tell Google to dis-value our efforts.
