Thread: How to check url position on Google

Hello to everyone.

I thank you all for the post on IMTALK. They are very helpful to me as I am learning SEO. So here is another question from me.

I want to know how do I check my website position placement on Google, Yahoo and Bing.

Is there any link where I can check this.

I wanted to answer this but Nemanja did it, anyway you could manually check your search ranking by setting your search settings into 100 results and click ctrl-f and try to look for your site, it would also be helpful if you download a plugin that can create a number list besides each site results. I hope you got what I mean.

wink0r I dont know about the plugin you are talking about. Can you tell me about it?

January14n mentioned it in his post. I was asking the question of him. SEOQuake will do it if you search with it turned on, but Google will get mad at you for asking all the silly questions (SEOQuake pulls information for each search result and triggers Google's bot alarm. You may get a couple of searches in with the results set to 100 per page and then you will be hit with a captcha before you see more search results. Been there - done that, and it took me a while to figure out why.)

It is very easy to check google page rank which is very much important for seo tasks in different outsourcing website such as odesk, elance. You can check it in two ways.
1. First of all, you will have to go to Google Page Rank Checker Page and then put your website url . After submitting, you will be able to see it's page rank.

2. Last of all, you can install add-ons : WebRank Toolbar and SEOQuaka
These two wonderful page rank checker will help you to find out the page rank immediately without spending any time.
