Thread: Google disavow links tool

So what do you think about new tool that google introduce recently which is to remove spammy links.. Do you really concern about spam link that pointing to your site? do you remove it??

Google will be collating the links people remove as spammy, and no doubt will use that as evidence that the links removed are from spam sites. Other sites linked to from those spammy sites will have the links devalued. I personally think its worth being ahead of the game on all this.

Google is going after spam, so being ahead of them and removing spam links etc must be beneficial

I think it is good move from google to fix some mistakes they did in recent algo changes(like negative SEO, etc.) and the best part is that people will do it for them.
It is very interesting how google is influencing on people(scaring them, make them panic, etc.) more and more telling them what they need to do and when, like some kind of dictatorship...and people blindly follow...
Don't get me wrong this one is good tool(considering current situation), but there wouldn't be a need for such tool if they did their job right in the first place.

Exactly, of all the google updates in past 2 years, I liked this one... its kind fight on spam unlike the other updates making internet marketing people fear Google

In the video the person has explicitly mentioned - "If you did not get any message to your Google webmaster tool inbox, there is no need to use this tool". And you should use this tool very cautiously.
