    GWT Message !!!

    Hi,

I recently received the message in google webmaster tool, for one of my site,

We've detected that some of your site's pages may be using techniques that are outside Google's Webmaster Guidelines. Specifically, look for possibly artificial or unnatural links pointing to your site that could be intended to manipulate PageRank. Examples of unnatural linking could include buying links to pass PageRank or participating in link schemes.

    ----------

I just received this message 2 hours ago, and my ranking is not down at the moment, but i am confuse what to do now, and "is this warning message or message before penalty. When it comes to site owner ? What is the different between warning and penalty message ? and what should i do now ?

-1- Should i block the google bot and re-do the on-site again, and remove some of over optimization techniques that i did ?

-2- Should i continue with my recent on-site and change my backlinking strategy, i recently lunched few blogs where from i was getting side bar, blogroll types links for my deep URLs, and just thinking to remove those URLs, ( Although they were with brand names blogroll, not with exact keywords, = Exm= Imtalk SEO Forum ) Should i delete them ?

-3- OR i should wait and see what happened and try to make my linking + on-site more better without blocking the G bot ?

    ========

    Any help will be appropriated.

    Kind Regards,

Did they mention from what sites are those unnatural links?
If yes try to remove them.

I think there is not penalty msg(I assume never got one), when you are penalized you will know trust me, I was many times, mostly manually, but to date I never got any msg about it.
About warning, I never got one also, so I don't' know from my own experience, but I heard many people got them.

    To nswer your question:
    1) No
    2) Continue using same on site(if it is not badly over optimized) and you can try delete them(blogrols), to test things out.
    3) Don't wait just test things

Hope things will get better for you.

From my understanding (I've never received the message but read lots about them-see below for links to sources and suggestions on what to do) once you receive the warning message, the site involved has already been penalized and/or deindexed. The articles below are from Google Webmasters Help, SEOMoz, and SEO Roundtable, and they talk about the various issues concerning the GWT unnatural links notice and how to fix your problem.

However, for now, you can check for sure to see if your site's been penalized in any way.
Search for your domain name in quotes, the entire url including the http.
If there is no result for the exact match for your domain address, then your site's been deindexed.
However, if it still shows up, its still indexed, but may have a penalty, such as a lower page rank.

    Good luck!

    Hope this answer your question.

    1. No need to block G bot, but de-optimize onpage seo could help you out.
    2. My advice to you would be to continue building links to your current site. No need to build the new one.
    3. Do a test is always great move, with your testing you'll find out which work or not, never waiting and do it right now.

    1. Heck no
    2. Delete blog roll links (these were on sites you own to other sites you own? If so, not good. If you do this, I'd make sure the sites are on different IPs at the A or B level, C is not enough anymore).
    3. Create more legit-ish links that will counter the # of "unnatural" ones

If the alarm bell goes off do you

    a) stop what you was doing and run
    b) do you continue what you was doing and wait to see if the cops actually turn up, when they turn up explain to them what happened and say your sorry.

ok maybe not the best analogy, but you get the picture?

    Thanks boss,

No G did not mention which sites are bad there or what is the main reason. I already un-blocked the G bot, that i mistakenly blocked for one hour, and deleted my own blogroll links, that i made for deep links, and considering to place their picture links with nofollow to get only traffic and some nofollow link juice ( If it is present ). Also i put back my text block that i put on the top with java query ( On-site ). ( My competitors are tough in budget they are using about $400 press releases, paid links, high authority sites links many things, this is competitive niche so i played with every thing, that i could ).
Now situvation is better ( As i think, and i lost some of ranking, and i expect more lower ranking in next days, but it will be good rather then getting penalty by g bot on main site ).

Again Thank you for your advice and tips.

    Regards

Deleted blogroll on same day, although main links were from

1 + 2 = From different sites, but same ip address for both sites with pr3 + pr1, just deleted them too. ( Main exact keyword links toward site )
4 blogrolls links from web2.0 blogs, weebly + blogspot + 2 more all blogs were just two or one month old, but daily updated with new + fresh + unique content and were getting the SEO + SEM work on them, I now moved those blogroll links to one blog ----> blogspot.com to make it power more stronger, and going to place a picture banner their as it has been started getting organic traffic 200+ and will be increased soon ( All links were with brand name )

Now i have just one blogroll link for main keyword from a website hosted on same ip address, + one brand name links from UK web2.0 site ---- Should i deleted them too ( My site is from UK, and these two links are just from UK that i think are useful ??? ?? ? ....

and bought some EZA + High PR Articles directories links and making more with high pr sites, and with diversify... hope this will work.

    Thanks for your help bro.

Yes, i checked the site, its there in index + ranking as it was, but traffic is low, ( I hope it has been victim of low CTR in SERPs ), meanwhile useful articles, specially SEOMoz its new for me with some more tips... Its hard to act like white hate when you have biggest competitors who are dealing with number of quality sites, and surfing the thousands of dollors/month for just link building and to get position for many years. ....

    Thanks again.
