Thread: How fast google index your webpage?

Can we know how fast google will index our webpages? As soon as you click 'submit post' button? What is the fastest time of google indexation rate? o.o5 sec? and what the slowest time of indexation rate? 2 day? just tell here if you ever experience that

I typed in testing and I got the following:
About 792,000,000 results (0.14 seconds)
Same for the last 3 trials when I typed in:
What is the best forum ever it took the following times:
About 407,000,000 results (0.13 seconds)
Same to the last 3 trials.. I think the slowest I got today was at school with like a .50 still really fast but slow for Google.'

About 74,300,000 results (0.19 seconds)
My well know forum
About 74,300,000 results (0.19 seconds)

I used blogger and that was pretty much instant, however with my website now its about 2 hours on some posts which is pretty good! Not sure how fast it can be, be nice if it was instant

If you have have
-robots.txt
-sitemap.xml
-Google webmaster account
-few links back from busy sites

You will get faster indexed.

i don't check regularly the indexation rate of my webpages post (especially new post being made).. but i see 30 minutes to 1 hour is normal i think for regular website, but if you own authority site, i think it will much faster

Most commonly i bookmark the page on popular social bookmarking sites such as digg, delicious, reddit etc which helps to index the page, surely within 24 hrs.

It also depends on your sitemap, how much priority you give it to update etc.

Nice tips, its making me more clear thoughts and queries are cleared.

sometimes i wonder if someone have blogspot (owned by google) and also your own domain, both have same years of being online and actively post something new... so will google index its own site first in spite of index other domain? or will google treat the same way in this case..?

Google seems index Blogspot pages very fast. Even we can't add a sitemap to a blogger blog still all posts get indexed within a day or 2 if not within hours.

Why google index all blogger post in max to 2 hr!
First reason: blogger have PR9 LOL and all new post are automaticly pinged, there are also automaticly added to blogs search engine, and many of rss and news agrerators. in the end product so they can google it as reward

But by having a blogspot account, you need to follow google's guideline, if not your site is banned, one thing i realized, blogspot can't rank higher in most competitive keyword, and even it is hard to dominate se by using blogspot

i don't think so, if your site is really brand new, it takes a little bit of time to index, not instantly, but if your site had been online for many years, and never get warned from google, then i believe you content can indexed instantly

for new blog, my fastest time is 4 hours. and the slowest time is 3 days.

It isn't about frequency of posting, but quality.

So if you post 100 articles versus 1 per week does that increase your ranking?

It won't increase your major keyword directly.

It will help increase your traffic for the longtail keywords that are now part of your new articles.

The only way articles help your major KW is that you start gettign links to your articles, and that has a residual impact on the rest of the website (PR spillover).

So keep writing, but try to ensure you write for waht the industry wants to read and not for the sake of having new content.

If your site is less than a year old, then obviously you can expect your Index-rate to be lower rather than high.

I social bookmark my new pages on various social networking thorugh many accounts and this gets my new posts indexed within a couple of hours

My forum is getting indexed every 1 min, started 1 week ago, got indexed by google over 10.000+ Times
