    Google analytics

    I installed my google analytics on my site yayyyy and been looking at the stats or whatever you call them.

    Now bounce rate?? WTH huh is it bad mine is at 38.9% and how do I stop it if is bad please.

    100% bounce rate is bad. Your number tells you that six out of ten of your visitors view more than one page on your site.

    This is good number, nothing to worry about,
    but also depends what type of site it is, forum, blog, regular website, etc....

    I think its not much in start it ok don't worry about that but make sure that you have relevant and authentic data and content

    I think it is good number...Your site is running great so don' worry about it and if you want to reduce the bounce rate than you have to do some optimization on your site. So that more number of keyword comes in searching and only those user visit your site who are genuine.

    The less the Bounce rate means that Your site visitor spend more time on your site which is good for your site.

    Yea that isn't a bad number- try to look at your specific entry pages and see if one has a higher rate than others, etc. and then try to optimize the pages with higher rates.

    Bounce rate within 60% is not a big issue.
