Getting a good page rank is vital for a website or a blog to perform well on the web. It takes some time for a blog or a site to get an acceptable PR. Once it is got, things become easy.

It is important but not much these days, not biggest factor on ranking websites any more

Yes I agree with you nowadays you will get acceptable PR in a whole month. But you should work hard for this.

of course it is, though it takes time for you to reach a better page rank in google.
but as i have said to other thread, quality content has a great factor

I think that you are mixing two different things.

PR - Page Rank (Google trademark) is a numeric value that represents how important a page is on the web, link analiysis algorithm, named after Larry Page
Page Ranking(on search engine) or SERP is page ranking position in search engine

These are two different things!!!

One need to take care of is Page Rank, but it is not the only factor.

Do not get obsessed with it, or you will waste a lot of your valuable time.

Yandex search engine now entered En market even with real-time search capabilities,
so "тИЦ" (PR analogue) becomes more important. 2-3 years ago I was more working
on rising PR on websites as one of main goals, when now it's making a good content.
Higher PR in russian side of Internet is easy to achieve, when using "satellite" sites.

Is it possible in any way that our website does not have PR, and still is in the top rankings of google? I mean 0 PR and top rankings in google search!

Not likely, but it is posible, one of my websites has PR3 and is on 5-6 spot in some very competitive market where other webistes (top 10) are PR6-8.

Yes I agree, If your site gets PR3 or more, it can affect your earnings like a charm. It affects serps position, you can get paid blog posts and link sales so all in all more pagerank = more traffic = more earnings
