There is the reason we all send much of our time SEOing. A side note: be sure you have Google's Analytics or a similar statistics package tracking installed on your site.

Depends on how you generate and present that auto content.
If you are smart they you won't get banned.

I don't know what "AUTO CONTENT" is but with all the great writers out there ($3 to $4 per article) good original content is no problem. I use Amazon Mechanical Turk for much of my content.

Unfortunately, a lot of my experience with auto content is it's not good quality. It's best to write or outsource your own articles.

The best 'auto content' system I have found so far is to couple the ArticleMS script (free article directory script) with SubmitYourArticle's article delivery service. SubmitYourArticle has high enough standards that EZine accepts articles that they distribute. The drawback with the system is that SubmitYourArticle has limited categories so if you are looking for niche articles you will receive a lot of articles that are off topic.

The worst that I have seen is WP-Article-Fetch. This is a semi-black hat service that scrapes and spins. The spinning software is not too good. I also received many incomplete articles. Almost no articles had a resource box and in the ones that did any links were not active. They also provide images with some articles, but the images are pulled from other sites, even with the 'host the images here' checkbox checked.

As you are new to SEO so consider using low competitive keywords, low competitive keywords are those keywords which are long tail keywords, these kind of keywords are targeted to your products and easily can be optimized.

You may also put your answer in SEO forums to get an overall picture of that matter and from there you can improve your SEO knowledge as well.

Simple ....If any user search query in Google or any other search engine and your site have good content related to search query than obviously user visit your site,if your site in SERP.
