More specifically, when we have two or more links on the page (in the menu and footer text, for example) that refer to the same URL but with different anchor text, you must know that Google seems to take account only the first anchor text link found at that URL.

What can affect this site? Optimizing our main page (Home page) for … ”home” when the menu (and links from it) is the first thing seen by Google and logo with site name (and link associated with optimized anchor text) link is already duplicated........

Also, try to put your link at upper part of the article, it would help...

The importance of the first link in SEO is that it would help you to establish good reviews as long as the the content of that website have quality information. And it also help to increase the traffic of the website.

Put the link in both part start and in the end of your article . it will be more benefit and attractive

Add more than one links on the page in distributed manner like top, middle, sidebar and/or bottom. This may also helps in easy navigation.

as high on the page as you put your links as better considered, but the best way is to distribute the links you put with different anchor texts as high as you can ( google bot reads from the top to thje bottom)
