For keyword analysing generally i use Keyword Analysis Tool .It is a nice tool.you can put a website and the Keyword Analyser will read the page you specify and give a report on what words are used, and how many times they are used.There are also other tools you can find

I dont use any tool at all but i can reach top 10 google rank for this keyword "unique stuff". I dont know how google calculate or filter your site out of others but i stick on the rules to write quality and easy to digest articles. Google search engine is improving every day to match human ability to figure out what topic an article delivers. So i think what is best for human eye is best for Google SEO too..
