Linking building is good for now also but You need to take care of your back link profile and disavow all the spammy links. In building there are many ways we can build good relationships we can have testimonials,blogs,guest posts. We can be more like we can discover competitors back links and whats are dead links, what are indirect links we are getting from competitors.
Link Building is always good way in search engine practice. but remember only build dofollow backlinks.

Link building has always been very important part of search engine optimization, but now in 2018 it seems to be little less effective, as i have built so many links for my website, but things have yet not being started showing up.
