    What is the different between a "crawler" and a "spider", in terms of SEO?

    Little bit differ.... crawling is a process which conduct by spider...!
    Google bot or Spider ..crawl the website...!

    Hey they are both but just have given name but they perform the same function.When we submit our pages to search engines then every search engine has an software which read these pages and this is called crawling. Every search engine has given different names to these software such as spider, robot, bot etc.
