Thread: Why low competitive keywords not ranking

There must be something wrong with Google or my website. I have a website for health and wellness I will mention digitalhealthtechnology.com

Most of the keywords it has are low or medium competitive like- digital health and wellness, diabetes management guidelines, etc. I am regularly publishing blogs on health and fitness but still I dont get traffic. The blogs are updated regularly by experts in this field.

I am not doing directory or SBM. I am active on social media sites, got some guest blog approved, few articles on ezine and have also been sharing article.

So please suggest me something I am missing in the site or some SEO activities which can help my site as I already know most of the SEO strategies.

These keywords are more towards to medium and higher competition keywords, maybe not as much searches, but very pricey and therefore competitive.
As far as I can see without deeper analysis I can say that first your title is over optimized, also your anchor links are maybe too much using main keywords which means over optimized anchors as well
and finally you have no social signals at all, also low FB TW etc followers...

So to do list:
1) Make title more user friendly and remove repeated main keywords(once is just fine)
2) Make more social signals
3) Make links look more natural adding more generic keywords and brand names/URL to your anchor link profile
4) Power up your links with 2nd and 3rd etc tier links
5) Increase social fan base on top networks.
6) As you said that you already doing, create more quality content (repeat steps 2, 3 and 4 for each article)
7) Repeat steps 1-6
8) Track results and do adjustments accordingly

Who is your audience? I went to your site and was very confused. If you aim your site at the general reader, your site is much too technical. If you aim your site at the professional (medical doctor, for instance) you don't make your point very well. Doctors are interested in procedures. Does your procedure work? What are the success numbers of your procedure? The costs? Is your audience the potential investor? An investor want numbers: costs, profits, etc. Nemanja's suggestions are good. But even if they increase your readership a lot, your readers will be confused.

Thanks Nemanja and Westsider, both of you gave a well detailed reply which I have to work on.

We want to target investors who can invest on building treatment plans for people with diabetes, obesity, cholesterol, etc. But we have to keep a mix of what laymen users would like to read because without this we won't get any traffic. I will surely look into the meta title and description if it is too overly optimized, but apart from this what else strategy can I work to reach investors and also get traffic.

Check the error in webmaster tool. If you have more errors in webmaster tool, You will get good ranking by hardly.
