Hello guys, I was hoping you could help me with something....

I have a few clients with Bed and Breakfasts. I have followed some SEO techniques that work for me with other clients but for some reason I can not get bed and breakfast sites to rank.

Khandalla BNB - Bed & Breakfast in Padstow

The above 2 sites are not to be seen, any advice would be welcomed THANKS!

That would be good if you share your SEO technique.. or give some synopsis how you do the SEO campaign.. maybe it could give some rough ideas or advice for you

Well basically I did on page SEO, basic techniques and registered the site to Google, Bing, Yahoo. With this I did not expect page 1. I expected to find it on atleast the top 20 pages and then I work on it to increase its ranking BUT I registered both sites weeks ago and its just not showing up for anything.

And I am seriously only have this problem with Bed and Breakfast websites, there are like several of them that are giving me this problem. It just does not make sense to me that they are not on the search engines. It is like my bed and breakfast sites are blacklisted.

On the first look I can see it is over optimized.
Too much bed and Breakfast keywords all over the place for this amount of text.
For example:

Put it only 1 time tops not 2 times,
also use LSI keywords instead of your main keyword in some of the text(LSI is other word for synonyms)
and add more text.

Do this, then we will talk links and social signals...

I made changes to some of the stuff you mentioned.

I moved some content from another page as it had way more text than the index page.

OK, that is a start, now build few links(dont' get crazy with anchor text, same as on page seo) and make few social signals.

and just a few advice... do not dilute with so many same anchor text over and over.. diversify with related/relevant keyword.. especially the brand name.. start over fresh.. then slowly increase links day by day

I started with 5 today from follow and no follow blog posting about vintage furniture. Backlinks contained anchor text as the following:

Melvyn
Melvyn King
Kings BnB
Melvyn @ Kings B and B
Kings Bed and Breakfast

Would you say this is a good thing to do? Do you still rate blog posting?

All comments was relevant and each post was clearly read so my comments made sense. Should I carry on with this?

Don't forget to add google authorship to these websites (if not done) as it increases the ranking ability tremendously. Also, create a Google place page for their listings as well so you can get them more local leads based on their geographical location. And yes, more links and social network signals.

With authorship, does this mean to create them a profile with Google+ ? or just add it to my own account?

These looks good, but Use other generic keywords as well and mix them up.
Bottom line you need them to look naturally.
Just think how people will actually link to this site if where recommendation or review etc...
For example, when I'm on the road trip with my bike I visit some bed and breakfast, then I get home after few days and write here and there about it,
for example in some adventure forum, or writing post on my blog, I surely will not link to that site "bed & Breakfast".
I will write something like, "We spend the night here, people where great and food was just awesome, price was right as well" where the "here" is actually a link/anchor text.
