How Do You Keep Track Of Links

I have a bunch of second tier links that I want to boost. The only problem is that as I'm building second and third teir links I'm losing track of what links I've boosted where. Any suggestions on how to track all of this linking activitiy? How do all of you do this?

You can create a blogger free blog and keep your all seo records. But while this is a free service so for security you need to keep backupof this all files. Also can use microsoft excel to keep records.

Is that how you guys manage your link building, with excel? By the way thes11, what do you mean about using blogger to track it? Seems like you'd want a stronger tool than just an open list but maybe I'm making it more complex than it needs to be. Thoughts? Suggestions? Anyone have experience with specific tools designed for this task?

Make a text file with 1st tier links in it, create another file with the name "completed 2nd tiers" and once you make 2nd tier links cut the completed links from the " 1st tier links" text file and paste into "completed 2nd tiers" text file.

My advice is don't keep track of 2nd tier links let them be indexed naturally

You can use Screaming Frog. There is a free version that will help you to up to 500 urls. but if you want more, then they have the paid version for 500+ urls.

Hope this will help, Good luck.

For all these, I use Google Drive, this is amazing to put all the stuffs at one place and you can access anywhere.
