Reddit can be a great traffic source! I got 500 unique visitors yesterday just from posting 1 link to one my blog posts in the subreddit for its niche (MagicTCG)

Google sends the 90 percent of traffic and almost 200 million searches all over the world use this search engine every day.After Google i defiantly prefer yahoo and binge the most.

One of my website gets 90% traffic from Facebook. But the reason is simple- the site is about Music artist booking, artist promotion, club and party DJ's. So the site has good fan following.
For the remaining sites relating to web design services, etc. pulling more traffic other than Google has been difficult.

Social Networking sites and Youtube website give traffic to your websites.Most of Internet users get traffic from aol,yandex and search,bing and yahoo organic search engine. Social media helps to get traffic to your blog or website.

I generally spend 3 hours+ on social media sites in one way or another so I didn’t do too much extra in this regard. I’ve tracked the traffic that came through the major social platforms that I am active on (Facebook and Twitter mainly, Pinterest when I’m really distracted!).

I think that you can also generate traffic through social networking websites. Otherwise you will need quality content or latest and interesting information for getting back your website traffic.

My backup plan for google is related content in forums and other blogs as well as social media sites. On the other hand i try to make good SEO to get good search results in bing too. Google is the biggest and well known search engine in internet and so i dont think at this time we need big backup plans.

really need to move into the social/mobile space

Facebook pages can be a great traffic source for a website after google. They are reliable for sure. Will never dance, never slap, no panda, no penguin.

YES salman... you are so right. :-)

Google + facebook are good...
But it is better to get multiple ways of traffic by using different strategies.

Social media sites like Linkedin, Twitter and facebook are the good places for get traffic.

There is only one solid traffic source - Your Own List.

There is another solid traffic source besides your own list. Somebody else's list. Try out solo ads as well. They are great sources and you can build your own list easily.

Social networks and social bookmarking websites are going to replace Google I think.

I think after google would be YOUTUBE

bing and yahoo are the reilable sources for traffic. Stumbleupon is also well kwnon name in this field.

I don't have a back up plan until now, I try to figure out where to get a good traffic from all my articles and get good results. Hope you may suggest the best place to get traffic that is free and reliable
