Thread: Selling on Ebay?

I tried to sell some stuff on ebay, but with not much luck.
Does any of you tried that, experience?

When I was few years younger, I sold some things on ebay, made good sales, but paypal limited my account, since I turned my focus from ebay.

Not exactly me, but a friend of mine does that. He puts up cheap priced products on ebay, they usually get a good bid and he sells them. A very good way to earn if you know how to use it!

i never thought and i never will sell nor buy items online. well there are lot of scammers roaming around the internet and that is the only reason i dont want to buy online. but i think when the time comes, i could sell items.

I have not used Ebay for selling stuff. I have read from many forums that people hardly earning from Ebay. Most of them are earning from Amazon. Is Amazon is better than ebay? Even I m confuse whether to use Ebay or Amazon?

I would say, Amazon is the best if you want to buy stuff. But, if you want to sell then Ebay tops the list!

I also tried once. But, no one buy I think it takes time. You have to wait for it and promote your product.

It takes time, brain and a good marketing strategy. I mean you can promote your products on forums, and youtube! That can really help, you just need to know ways to increase the value of your product!

Does eBay has any affiliate programs? If yes I am ready to join their programs i can promote any product. Does it support for paypal?

I think that they have, but you need to check that...

as i have said earlier, if ever i would try ebay, im just going to try selling but not buying products.
i tried lately, but my i receive no orders from my product. i think its hard to sell since you have got so many competitions.

I used ebay like 2 years ago to sell something. They have big listing fees and my products where small prices that way I end up earning nothing. I quit using ebay for selling, now I only use them when I need to buy something.

For years I have been meaning to get on Ebay but its just one of those things I have not got into yet. To be successful you need to sell quality stuff (as always). And there is no way you cannot stock and ship merchandise. Some people say dropshippers are a good way to get rich quick and they are not. The problem with them is your inventory is limited and literally everybody is selling the exact same thing as you.

That reminds to say something about buying and selling on Ebay. I highly recommend using a paypal account. It is several times more secure and its probably the most widely accepted form of payment on ebay. And Paypal allows you to accept credit card.

One of my friend uses ebay and he is making a fair amount of money too from ebay. It is a reliable and much easy way to do business from there.

Based on my experience, the customer support of ebay really sucks. I have had a pending case with ebay and up to now ebay has yet to resolve it. Such a case has led to the suspension of my paypal account.

The key is to make creative marketing techniques. You won't get any orders until you advertise your product. Probably posting in forums about it, or making videos, or simply make a blog! There are different ways to market, you get those ways, you get sales too!

I think customer support in these kind of websites has some restriction where two parties interact with each other and the website acts as a catalyst. I had previous experiences like this in other websites like this.

First time was difficult but i somehow managed to sell my cellphone and i got a reasonable price for it. After that i didnt have much luck
