    IM Experience of a Neophyte

I just want to share something. When I'm new in my job, I have to learn all the internet marketing stuffs. That's not my forte. Because I'm not a marketing graduate nor an information technologist. Learning IM gave me a hard time. I was given some modules to read and to learn. It's not very easy. Then I'm attending forums to get some idea and even learn new things. There were times that I am being ridiculed for being a beginner and even mocked me for not knowing marketing strategies. Hello! I'm still learning. And very willing to learn the unlearn. It's just that as a beginner I also need some helping hand. I did get an internet marketing job to have a working experience and to prove myself that I can go out of my comfort zone. Sometimes, there are people who always thought that they new all things but the fact is they were just trying hard.

We were all new at it at one point. We all learn as much as we can, but in the end its like working in IT. just when you think you know everything, something new pops up and changes everything. Don't get disheartened though. there are so many people out there that are willing to help someone learn, just as there are so many out there that will ridicule a newbie. It all depends on who you talk to and what their level of "expertise" is. I can hardly call myself professional, regardless of the training I have had, or the fact that I have only had less than a year's experience, but at the end of the day I am happy that everything I am doing is been done the right way. I am not spamming people, and I try help out as much as I can. You will be in the same position once you are comfortable and it would depend on you whether you want to help or not.

It takes all sorts of people to make this world what it is, and listening to the ones that truly matter is what is going to help you the most.

You're welcome. SEO and IM are definitely not the easiest trades to be in, and with it changing so much, everyone's constantly learning new things. I know I am . Think of working online exactly the same way you would if you were working in any other job. There is good and bad in all of it. What you do with that is what matters most.
