    1) If everything is right - 1. If everything is wrong - never. You must put a product that someone wants in front of that person when they are ready to buy.
    2) I can't really speak to that.
    3) Probably not. The traffic from a traffic exchange is unlikely to be well qualified.
    4) That depends on your definition of 'making money'.

    1) First thing to consider is if you are sending targeted buyer traffic or blind traffic to the offer. It also depends on the price of the offer to some extent. If you are sending targeted buyer traffic that can afford the price of the offer you should get 1:30 or better. If you are sending blind traffic, be happy with 1:10,000

Well all you have to summarize customer needs and do marketing on that point where customer has weak area. I suggest you if you can do social marketing and back-linking then you do not have to pay for ads.

All "best answers" to this are WRONG, because all the answers depend on which offer you are promoting.

What will work well for one offer, might not work at all for another.

Most people don't understand these things at all, because they don't understand simple mathematical concepts and haven't thought through the system.

It's best to look at EPC, rather than "number of clicks for a sale", because the number of clicks for a sale will depend on many things, including the price of the offer . . . if you make a sale every 100 clicks, it matters a LOT whether that sale is for $1 or for $1,000. So the number of clicks for a sale is meaningless, or worse, misleading, if you haven't said what the offer is worth.

The "best places" to advertise free, will depend on the offer ! For example, I read recently about someone selling jewelry, who said that the best place for her was Tumblr . . . does that mean that Tumblr is the best place for every business in the world? NO !!! Social-media channels can certainly work well for some things, but not for others. Some clues can be in the demographics, for example, Pinterest has a lot of middle-aged women with above-average income, so keep that in mind when choosing which offers to try there.

How long ?? . . . "how long is a piece of string" !!! The fact that last week I wrote an internet-marketing product, and its sales-copy in 24 hours, checked it that morning, posted in the evening, and had made a profit 2 days later, does NOT mean that YOU can do this, right now. How long it will take to make a profit online, will have a different answer for each different person in the world.

Some people want easy answers . . . since that means refusing to think and understand, most of those people will fail. If you want to succeed, REAL answers would be better, which can start with asking better questions

    Hope this helps !

    Chris
