If Google sees a website with 10,000 auto-approved blog comment backlinks from 10,000 pages full of spammed backlinks, yes there is a high chance the website will end up in the sandbox.

Exactly, it's just learning the best/right way to go about article marketing.

I only use Adwords and I find it fine, WordTracker is great and all, but I just prefer adwords :)
