Yes, I know, but this is something I don't have control over. It is a VB plug-in, product.
I'm currently proposing that company some improvements on that plug-in and waiting on them to update it.
Once someone reaches point target it will be visible in contest menu.
Also you can track your activity points and you have monthly activity which can give you some clues....

i almost reach 1000 point! wait! yesterday i don't have internet connection due to network card problem, now the problem had been settled, yesterday i had 967 point, if i'm not mistaken, (October point activity), but today it show 0 points of monthly activity, and i wanna add more points before 4/11, i hope the system still consider my previous point or you also can consider that before 4/11

Your monthly activity points calculates from 1st to 1st for each of the months.
Contest calculates points from the beginning of the contest till the end of the contest or if you reach target points before the end date of the contest.

How to check monthly activity? i have checked all options on activity tab but maybe i am doing something wrong, still not able to check monthly points ranking.

Have you had a look at the activity tab in your profile? There should be a few colored lines that show activity, weekly, daily and monthly. it also gives you the amount of each as well.

Strange results........I am very slow as often i did previous. I have to put hard more efforts to get me back on track

Its the beginning of a new month now, so it would have started over again. but the system has kept track of your month's activities and will add the activities you do now until the 4th as well, to cover the competition dates. You're welcome.

I don't post just for competition as if this thing is in my mind then believe me i have made this already. But this thing is good to track of my month activities and it will push me to put some more useful posts.

Me neither, but you are right, it is a good way to see what you have been up to on the forum. I like the system, and love being able to see what I am doing, and what I have done.

hehe... because i calculate the points manually, from the 4/10 - 3/11. (4/10-31/10 = 950), (1/11-3/11= 70) 950+70=1020

maybe i am wrong, nevermind i will add more points to see my name up in lights or not before 4/11

Yes, that is strange, I know for a fact that last month only you have 900+ points.
I was looking in DragonByte Technologies forum and some members/forum owners also reported some issues with contest plug-in...
I was also doing some stuff with database, so maybe something of that influenced this contest???

I think he must be manually announced to win the contest manually

On further investigation of this issue with contest plugin and looking at Top Posters in last 30 days he has 554 posts which is more than enough for this contest

Also top thread starters in last 30 days is 30 threads:

So to calculate:
554 posts - 30(threads) = 524 x 2 = 1048
30 threads x 6 = 180
only that is 1228 points in last 30 days, so since 04.10. when contest started.

Plus points for thanks, reputation, etc....

Sorry for this issue with the contest plugin.
I assume something happen to database or plugin tables during this contest.
I will do some simple test for next contest to make sure this doesn't happen again,
also will check DragonByte Technologies forum and support for possible problems with this plugin.
