Forum Rules - Read This First!

Hi and welcome to the IMTalk forum!
Please avoid infractions or ban by following these simple Forum Rules:


Just registered users(Users Awaiting Moderation)
Need to post first in the "Introduce Yourself" forum in order to use this forum and to be moved to next usergroup...
Move/promotion will be done in 1 hour after you post that introduction thread.


General rules:

• Multiple accounts are not allowed - Will result in immediate ban!
• NO SPAM! ****, gambling, and other spam, threads/posts will be removed and user will be banned!
• Signatures and Live Links are allowed only after you have reached 60 Activity Points.
• Staff will have final word what is allowed and what isn't, but they will not abuse their positions or otherwise they will be banned.
• For any other clarification contact our feedback and suggestion forum or contact our staff.

Infractions you can get if you are not following our rules

1 Infraction which will expire in 1 Month you can get for the following reasons:

- Affiliate or any kind of referral links are not allowed in threads and posts, they are only allowed in signatures
- Copyright infringement(copy/paste threads posts from other sources and without source link are not allowed)
- Cross-posting, duplicate threads and posts are not allowed, search before you post.
- Excessive Advertising (Spam)
- Forum rule violation(read forum rules)
- Asking for thanks and/or reputation in any thread, post or privately
- Illegal activity
- Inappropriate Language
- Irrelevant post according to thread
- Offensive content(Violent, Flatulence, Nudity, Personal info, Profanity, Racism...)
- Only English language is allowed!
- Off Topic Advertisement
- Over-bumping
- Bumping threads with worthless reply is not allowed.
- Fake signatures are not allowed, threads/posts with fake signatures will be deleted and you will get infraction or ban.
- Signature Rule Violation
- Signatures containing Warez, Cracked Software, Nulled Script or Stolen Ebooks, Accounts, Emails, Free Movies, etc. type of links are NOT Allowed!
- You can promote your own webiste/product/service, only if you contributed to the forum in the past. Your webiste/product/service needs to be something useful and valuable to the community.
- SPAM Advertisement
- You are not allowed to ask for thanks or/and reputation in any thread, post or privately.
- Threads must be started in the most relevant category
- Useless posts & posts with no value which intent is to build post count or to promote your website/service/product will be deleted and you will get infraction or ban.
- "Thank you", "Nice post", "Great share" and other similar type of posts will not be tolerated at this board, we have "thanks" button for that!
- User Account Violation(Avatar, Custom User Title, Malicious Trader Rating, Profile Field, User id, signiture, etc... )
- URL shorteners and/or any kind of view/click/watch ad or complete survey type of links , redirects are not allowed in threads/posts, only in signatures.
- Basic and common sense threads/posts like "SEO is...", "Keyword research is...", "What is SEO?", "What is linkbuilding?" or anything similar in order to raise post count is not allowed.
- Sales threads without detailed description and/or having external link to fiverr gig or similar sites are not allowed and will be deleted instantly.
- Advertising your website/product/service is not allowed in any forum section except for the forum Marketplace.
- Don't put special characters in thread titles or any combination of normal characters with single purpose to draw attention to your thread(۝۝, »¦«, ♚♛♞, »»», ◊◊◊, ☛₪☛, †††, ✦✦✦, ☆★☆, etc)

2 Infractions which will expire in 1 Month you can get for the following reasons:

- Warez, Cracked Software, Nulled Script or Stolen Ebooks, Accounts, Emails, Free Movies, etc. type of threads/posts are NOT Allowed!
- Hijacking other members sales threads in order to promote your own or any other service/product/website.
- Trashing/criticizing/disrupting other members sales threads without any specific reason or proof, like: "this price i too high", "I know better service/product", "this is no good", "this is no longer working", etc will not be tolerated!
- Making or posting allegations in other members sales threads, without any proof.

10 Infractions which will expire in 1 Month you can get for the following reasons:

- Personal attacks, offensive, discriminatory, or any inappropriate material of that kind will not be tolerated here!
- Troll or Spam Account - 10 Points(Infractions) expires in 1 Month
- User Trolling/Spamming - 10 Points(Infractions) expires in 1 Month

These above infractions can get you banned automatically for certain period of time or permanent if you collect them enough

• 5 Infractions will get you banned for 7 Days
• 10 Infractions will get you banned for 1 Month
• 15 Infractions will get you banned for 3 Months
• 20 Infractions will get you banned for 6 Months
• 25 Infractions will get you banned for 1 Year
• 30 Infractions will get you banned Forever

Finally we are here to have fun and help each other in our Internet Marketing journey.

This is very important!!
I have added new rules and infractions, because I saw that many of you are trashing other members sales threads.
THIS WILL NO LONGER BE TOLERATED AND YOU WILL GET SERIOUS INFRACTIONS OR EVEN BAN!!!

I don't want to see any more replies like "this service/product is to pricey" or "I know better service/product" or "I think this method is not working anymore", "xyz service is better and/or cheaper", etc...
All sorts of personal opinions are NOT WELCOME anymore in sales threads except if it is review or feedback for that particular service/product.
You can still ask questions about service or products, but I don't want to see questions like these "why you price is too high" or "isn't xyz service better than yours".
When members want to make or post allegations in other members sales threads, then they should be able to "Prove it".

Simple email opt-in forms/pages are OK.

Update

Basic and common sense threads/posts like "SEO is...", "Keyword research is...", "What is SEO?", "What is linkbuilding?" or anything similar in order to raise post count is not allowed.
Since day one I wrote that we will not tolerate such threads and posts in order to raise your post counts.
Today one member pointed on this issue and I think we need to put serious STOP to this in order to make this forum a better place.

Also PLEASE use report button if you see someone is breaking any of these rules.

Another Rule Update:

I see many sales threads especially in service forums, where people posts threads and write only few words and link to their fiverr gig or simialr sites.
Well this is wrong for few reasons and IMTalk.org will not allow this anymore, not just for fiverr gigs, but any other external page of that or similar nature.
If you want to sell your product service at IMTalk.org, you will need to write nice detailed description explaining what you are offering to our members.
You can still link to your store/page add buying button etc..., but not to sites like fiverr(other sites which are marketplaces).
Sales threads without detailed description and/or having external link to fiverr gig or similar sites are not allowed and will be deleted instantly.
