Promote this forum with your Referral ID

Please help us spread the word about IMTalk.org.
When referring others to the community you can use your own unique referral ID.
You will be credited for any referrals brought by using the link.

Each time someone follows your referral link to IMTalk.org and registers as a new member,
your referral count will be incremented by one.

The total number of referrals you currently have can always be viewed at the top of referral box under Settings,
also in your "Profile" under "About Me" you can see who they are.

Please be courteous when promoting IMTalk.org by not spamming other web sites and/or email addresses with your referral link just to gain referrals,
as this will most likely not bring many referrals and may create acrimony, rather than goodwill, towards the site.

Yes that is right...
About banners and ref id, it is OK, we will just add banners and people will replaces something like xxxxxx with their ref id.

This is very strange cause I can track with an special plugin the clicks on links
and the plugin tells me that over 1000 unique visitors had clicked on the link... so only 8 really interessted to register to this forums

Many people visit forums without registering. The main reasons to register are to comment on a post or to ask a question, or in the case of this forum to gain access to the members only tools. Some visitors may not register on their first visit and may return without your referrer link. A persistent cookie would have to be set in cases of this kind.

This might be a stupid question, but is there an incentive to getting people to use my referral link? I've gotten 4 already in my short stint here, but I wasn't sure if I get anything from it other than the satisfaction of helping to promote this forum.

It is good spirit that you have referred your friends here at IMTalk.org.

I am sure one day you will really get rewarded. IMTalk.org is very opened about reward policy. As an example, all members having 100 posts and above are awarded with 10$ credits for IMT Bookmark Submitter. So take your time, contribute to forum, refer more friends as you can, and you must be rewarded.

Thanks, idreesfarooq. I will try more to post on the forum, though I am such a newbie that I don't feel like I can contribute that much at this point. I'll continue to refer people here and will add to the conversation, when I feel like I have something worthwhile to share.
