Thread: Tutorial videos...

I'm looking for someone who can convert my product into a video course, so I'll be able to increase conversion, adding the PDF transscript with it. Does anyone here on IMT have experience with this ?

It's a fact that video sells better than pdf these days...I need to consider this for some of my products.

They can be very effective, alot of SEO academy people sell their stuff through a lecture type video via a powerpoint style presentation of the product with a voice over.

Tis true. My project management studies were in video and flash. It was easy to learn and fun as well.

agreed.. 'watch and listen' type of learning kind of easy to understand, if a long text pdf version, you just need to slow down eye-mapping process in order to understand paragraph by paragraph

Personally I prefer written content. I can proceed at my own pace and reread a portion if I feel that I have missed a point. If a transcript is offered I often just read the transcript rather than watching the video. I don't expect that I am typical in this, but it is what works best for me.

I cant stand written stuff, its a pain when you got to go through each tab to see what you have to do, then you don't understand it, id rather it be a video walkthrough

Some people like that kind of way, because they can pull out certain point, and write it on whiteboard or a piece of paper... but for me the really best of best is 'face to face' type of learning ...... just like in tutorial class during study life in universities, where there are one tutor and at least 5 students in a class, that type face to face of learning can give you more freedom to ask anything if don't understand

I prefer written content, but I have to print it off. I hate reading long documents on the screen. And I'm an avid highlighter and note writer as well, so you can be sure all my printed ebooks are well marked up!
