Thread: Wanting to make a video...help?

I would like to make a video of some kind, with my website been a drug addiction website I have no idea what the best approach would be?!

Its one of the avenues I have not tried to venture into and I think it will be a good way to get some new traffic onto my website. However my expertises regarding video creator is pretty poor. All I know is windows movie maker and I am pretty poor with that anyways!

Anyone know of any good suggestions for a video creation software for a novice video maker like me?

also any ideas on video ideas would be awesome too as I don't have a scooby!

if you want to make a videos that stand out among each other and also pro like hollywood film maker, i would suggest you to learn Adobe Premiere and for video montage and side effecs you need to learn Adobe After Effect

How much is Adobe? thought most of them you have to pay for these days?

Adobe will cost you a lot.. most film maker had that software, i just suggest something that can make your video output masterpiece all the time if you think 'big', maybe you need to invest for that kind of software

There is also camtasia and sony vegas. There is a good 24 dollar alternative called trakaxpc. I have used it in vids and its really good. You can do almost anything on it you would on camtasia. I use it for work videos.

Camtasia is a very great tool for making videos on your own PC.

camtasia is very famous and widely use by many internet marketers.. adobe software kind of too complicated and too advance, need lot of time to learn all the great features

If I wanted to sue a decent one for editing and making videos what software would you guys recommend?

It's not an easy topic to create videos for, but you could somehow show the impact that drugs have on a person's life. With most of these, all you really need are images and music or voice over, or both.

yes i agreed with phoenyx, furthermore maybe you can interview someone that ever experience the impact of that drug in ruining person's life, just creative and think out of box

Good idea I just want something that will make an impact, looking on youtube there are not many really big high hitting drug videos to highlight the dangers of drugs, I'd like to use that as an opportunity perhaps!

You could have a look and see what they are missing. Then you can build on that and fill a gap they forgot to fill. It could work, especially if they have left out important points that you think people would need to see.

I've seen some very good high quality fiverr gigs aswell offering to make 1 minute videos and voiceovers.
Depending on what kind of video you want, I'd advise to see if you can outsource it for cheap to someone with experience in video creation.

I had a look on Fiverr but I want something unique although they are good, I don't want to use something that has already been created before as a template.

I could help out as well. I have some experience making vids, if you get stuck.

The video gigs I've seen actually create a unique video following YOUR text and wishes.
No templates or videos used by others...

If Phoenyx can help you out, I'd definitely try.
