    Part two.

Ok, the next video is up. I would like honest opinions though. As I said, I did change a few things on the new video to try make it look professional and to make it sound better so that I can be heard over the music.

I viewed this when you first posted but wanted to go through it again before I posted, but was short on time then. I came back to it today.

Overall this works better. The volume relationship between voice and background is good. I think that it would sound a bit more professional if the music were a little louder through the intro and outtro splash screens, fading to the current level during the tutorial and swelling at the end. As I recall that would be done with enveloping in Audacity, drawing in the various points to handle the processing. A DAW with fader automation would make life easier for something like this.

There are a couple of places where your speech seems a bit hurried (the nerves showing). The spoken English language has many local variations. You have, to an American, a charming South African accent. You need to consider pacing in your dialog so that your audience gets your message. I think this is of particular importance because on the web many may view your content for whom English is a second language.

This is all intended as constructive criticism. I think that you are doing a fine job and that your message is clear. The software looks interesting. Keep up the good work.

lol winkor, my accent is no more south african than the pope is irish I have had people here take one look at me and ask me immediately where I was born. I feel like a tourist in my own country

thank you though. I am working on a revised version of the video, so these tips will come in handy when I start working on it again.

The accent may be light, but it is there. I had an interesting experience regarding accents once. I was doing sound in Sturgis at the big motorcycle rally for a good Rolling Stones tribute band. There was an international couple in the crowd, he from Australia and she from New Zealand. They were arguing about the singers accent and turned to me for arbitration. He thought that it was a British accent and she thought that it was an Australian accent. The singer in the band is actually from Texas, USA and the accent completely imitation as part of the show.

 That must have been really cool. I wish I still had my proper accent, the way it was meant to be, but alas, it vanished when i was 9, never again to return.
well, tis going to be interesting working on the next lot of videos. I need to rework the second one slightly. There are one or two things I need to add to the video. other than that, I am already making plans for the third one.

Amazing! I looked this up on Youtube too, and I was expecting that this would be a really difficult effect to achieve and you’ve made it so simple! Thanks man.

lol, you're welcome. They were merely effects used to spice the video a little. I have learnt a lot more and my videos are improving in leaps and bounds. I have created a new marketing video, I am just waiting for permission before it also is added tot he youtube list.

HAHAHAHA, and here I thought adding a photo of me in my friends list and a woman in my avatar would tell people I'm a woman lol sigh, another battle lost. Since that last video I have created a good few training videos, and I have learned to reduce the noise in the background. As far as I can tell, every video gets better.

Thank you though I'm glad you liked the video.

The video is about my company and one of its products. (nuff said I will not self promote). Needless to say though, I have improved my video skills in leaps and bounds and have learnt how to control the fear lol. Thank you.

I agree with you. I had a hard time hearing her as well and my speakers were turned all the way up.
