Could you share your positive and negative experience about these free forum script ? I like to know user experience about these forum scripts and what you think about these.
I use SMF and myBB. both get bot spam heavily. In SMF it can keep it under control with MODs but having a hard time with myBB

I've used phpBB and had a positive experience with it. It's usually my go to for when I want t free forum.

I have only used phpBB in the past on one site. I have not used any others. My experience was good for the most part. I think they have added an easier way to make mods to it since I have used it last.
When I used it the script came very basic and you had to manually do a lot of mods. Their support forum was always good as long as you did your searching before asking.

I used phpBB and myBB but I must say... both scripts are great. I think myBB is better just beacuse you can install mods with few clicks.

Though I am not familiar with forum software but it is true phpBB is most uses than myBB, punBB etc
Honesty is the best policy. If you can lead a honest life must you will be rewarded any of time in future for sure

Even I've used phpBB for creating a discussion board.... and I can say that the user interface there is pretty nice.

The best thing that phpBB is free to use. And it's interface is pretty nice than some other forum software. But I believe vBulletin is the King!

vBulletin is hands downs the best forum software so I advise investing a bit. :P

myBB is good alternative for vBulletin... phpBB is tough with mods else its an exceptional... never had any stable experience with smf... the default text formatting itself seems like a glitch to me!
