Thread: WP SEO by Yoast plugin problem

Hi,



As you can see in the above image, the home title is getting repeated twice in WP SEO by Yoast plugin and I am unable to figure out where actually the problem is?

Does anyone here experienced the same ?

I also happen to use yoast, but did not experience like that.

In that case ... I tried using it on Genesis framework (generate child theme) and Nest theme (free) ... but the same problem persists ! So I don't think there's a problem in the themes.

if You check bug on different themes - try to disable all not neccessary plugins.

All In One SEO is the best I think for WP. I always had problems with the Yoast one. But thats my opinion mind! All in one requires alot of muscle from the your hosting to run well mind.

Currently I am using AIO SEO itself and I agree that its the best .... But also I'd like to know what is causing this error in Yoast?

Is there not anything on the main site of yoast mentioning it? or on there support forums?

I tried googling but didn't find an appropriate solution....

It looks like its to do with your Wordpress Title in the settings section. I had something like it. If you add it on your SEO but remove it off your site you will just get the one title. Not the two.

Just tried the way you said .... but the home page title is getting vanished !

Hmm interesting must be something you can do to stop it

If it not a theme bug, not a plugin conflitc try to contact wit yoast dev.
