I am looking to start a blog but can't decide what to start with.
I mean should I make one blog with lots of content or it should lots of blogs with few contents on it?

I guess it all depends on what you want to do. You can create on killer blog with high quality content, or a few different blogs with high quality content, but posts will be less or shorter? I would concentrate on one with a lot of high quality posts though, because if I have too many to look after, one will likely suffer for it and get eaten by the panda at some point. Keeping everything closer to what I can manage is ultimately better for me.
What are your goals in the blog world? Do you want to make a name for yourself as a "fish farmer", then open up your fish blog. Or is your goal to send your new merchant customers (affiliate), then make a specific Thmenblog, which you must link damn good! Define your goals, then you know what to do!
Lots of content!
I would say go the lots of content route--this will help build more links to your site and get more traffic in one focused place which will be helpful down the road.
