Your choice depends on your goals, technical expertise, budget and what you want the site to do.
WordPress-For a simple blog or brochure-type site, WordPress could be the excellent choiceAlso,it is very friendly for non-developers, and is a flexible platform also capable of creating very complex sites.
Drupal-For a complex and a highly customized site requiring scalability and complex content organization, Drupal will be the best choice.
Joomla-For something in between Joomla can be the best option to be used.

You can't go wrong with wordpress, the number of themes and plugins available makes it the best solution for almost any project. I would recommend installing a security plugin as you get started, the number of hack attempts these days is crazy. I like wordfence but there are several good ones out there.

Can't go wrong with Wordpress really. Especially if you're new to website creation and blogging

It is probably the easiest one to use and it's free.

    Wordpress has many plugins.
Good for starters, also good for long term bloggers.

For a blog, the simple cms to use is Wordpress. It's true you can try Joomla also, but Wordpress is really simple and more straight.
