Thread: imt supercharged bookmarks VS panda update.

Hello.

I use the supercharged bookmarks tool a lot, but my last added websites do not score better in google.

Instead my websites lost more positions in google when I use this tool.

What are your experiences with the tool?

My experience with IMT SB has been great, ranking multiple keywords on Page 2, but I think it will depend on a few factors such as:
- are you spinning your content?
- your keyword competition
- what else are you doing for backlinking
- on page SEO

I need to address this one.

First things first, panda update was started somewhere about 24.02.2011, then they rolled out few more updates...
That said, panda update wasn't(and still isn't) about filtering, decreasing or devaluating social bookmarking, social network websites and communities at all, or backlinks coming from them,
as a matter of fact links from social sites and similar community websites are considered to be more valuable and taken more into consideration by Google(in positive way) while ranking webpages after this panda update.
Panda update was mainly about article marketing and sites publishing same article/content over and over again, also blogs and scraper sites where hit on later versions of panda updates,
but I leave it up to you to search and learn more about panda updates and what they are all about...

All these months I have been receiving PMs and emails from IMT supercharged bookmarks numerous users about their success with it,
also all sites from my network in these past months gained or remain old PR and non of them where deindexed or something similar, as matter of fact they are all rising in number of indexed pages, etc...
One more thing, if you followed main IMT supercharged bookmarks thread then you can see that I have done some ranking tests and you can check those keywords now after few months, they are still ranking at about the same or even better place.
I will do some more ranking tests with screenshots dates etc. very soon...

I have checked your bookmarks and you are hardly using any spin syntax, and if you do, then syntax like this one is not helping {tires|cheap tires|bonus tires},
I was writing about this few weeks/months ago.

Another thing titles like this one below (which are your anchors in backlinks BTW) will not help anyone, your linkbuilding campaign can only be devaluated for link/anchor spamming:
tires|cheap tires|bonus tires|great tires|nice tires| winter tires|my tires|bad tires|what ever tiers|tires|cheap tires|bonus tires|great tires|nice tires| winter tires|my tires| bad tires| what ever tiers

Please note that this is not spin syntax, notice that there are no {}, so this is all the title/anchor text pointing back to your webpage.... Does this look natural to you??
Do you really think that people are using anchors/links like this when they share/post/write things on the www, c'mon??

I see lots of people making these kind of titles, THIS WILL NOT HELP YOU, IT CAN ONLY HURT YOUR BACKLINK BUILDING PROFILE AND EVENTUALLY YOUR RANKINGS!!!
People please ,you need to be smarter than that, I have invested great time in planning, developing, testing, maintaining, upgrading this tool for all you to enjoy great rankings and traffic, etc.,
so for God sake at least you can do is little research/reading/thinking while using this tool to get most out of it, don't make these kind of mistakes and avoid your linkbuilding profile being recognized as unnatural or spam.
This applies not only to IMT supercharged bookmarks, but also to other linkbuilding software, scripts, services as well.

And as burgers said there are hundreds of other factors that can influence your rankings.

I know you say that spintax like the following doesn't do anyone any good: "{tires|cheap tires|bonus tires} "

My question is why. What is it about that syntax that makes it no good? Is it because they need to balance out their title with non-keyword variations? Is that the only thing that is wrong with it or is there something else I'm missing on this?

The problem is that they(anchors pointing back to your URLs) need to look natural, if you only have "{tires|cheap tires|bonus tires}" this is not natural and google is smart enough to spot that.
Just ask yourself how you will be linking some post that you like, about tires, I know I would do something like "check this" or "click here" and most of the people do things this way.
So these are not bad if you mix them with many variatons of anchors as you can to mimic natural linkbuilding as much as you can.

Also I have noticed that longer titles of the bookmarks tend to be indexed more by google. I don't know if the same thing apply to the description, but my guess is that it does.

I love IMT Supercharged bookmarks and I am sure it can definitely help in your SEO efforts.

Thanks for that little clarification about use of varied title for bookmarking campaign. I have gained some valuable knowledge from your post.
