Looks good to me, lots of categories and nice color scheme. I'd recommend updating the copyright, right now it makes your site look dated -- 2009 - 2012 would look much better. Shows site has history but yet still up-to-date!

From a newbie point of view at first thought the background was great and made the content page stand out more, but then found it really distracting and hard to concentrate on the content.
