Thread: Please review my site (travel related)

Afternoon all, I am looking for some good, constructive reviews on my site, I am completely self taught in creating my site through my own research so I am sure some experienced reviews will help. My site is Book Cheap Airport Lounges, Hotels and Cheap Airport Parking and currently PR3, I can link build though the guidance of anupviews superb ebook and seobunny's blog so please don't go on about building links for it, I am looking for views on design, SEO Optimisation and general improvement! I Like your site. Simple and yet attractive Good work.

One thing I would like to say if you can work some more on text color then It will be great boost to enhance your site design.

The site is good.
But the overall look of the site seems like over packed with blue, that gets to be irritated for the eyesight after concentrating 15 secs.
I would suggest you to make headings blue and remaining content black or grey.

To be honest with you: I do think it looks a little dated. It's very compact and boxed, the background looks ''washed out'' and also like something which was made in the year 2000. I agree with the people above that it looks a little bit too blue. The bold verdana looks readable, but the font (Tahoma?) with the normal font-weight is a lot harder to read.

Some other minor points: put some padding on the left side of the ''best prices guaranteed'' box, the words ''All bookings are Verisign ..." are touching the border of the box.

I would also recommend that you use a seperate .css file for the styling. Now you have put all the styling in the .html file, but it's a lot easier to create and edit/maintain a page when you put all the styling in a different .css file.

For example, if you would like to change the blue colour of the text you'd have to go through all the files. But with a .css you'd only have to change the .css

Thanks for the advice and help, I am limited in what I can do about the page layout, its all done through a FCKE editor on Spanglefish. I will implement some of the ideas. Thanks Again

will agree, that you website appears old fashioned, and narrow a bit.
Background looks too airy and fonts colors leave much to be desired - too light.
