I can't break myself from minimal design, but I know I need to do something to it. SEO seems good?

My keyword tool advises against trying to crack this niche. It talks about needing 2000 - 4000 backlinks to see page one. It looks like Google isn't interested in adwords income from the sector, either. What I saw with a couple of searches seemed to confirm the competitive nature of the niche. Unless I missed it I did not see onestopvapors in the top 100 for either electronic cigarette (~40 million results) or e cigarette (over 80 million results). Anybody that searches for one stop vapors, though, will have a hard time missing you. (I have a site that is in #1 position on a search with 383 million results for a term for which few, if any, will search.)

Your title and description look fine, but your h1 tag seems wasted on your site name/logo (particularly since yours is not a keyword domain name). You are sneaking some text in through the title tags, but I suspect that you could benefit from an introductory paragraph for the page. h2 tags for the different products may also be of value. Is the site nav all javascript? If so you might consider duplicating it in html in the section at the bottom of the page. Javascript nav can cause accessibility problems.

PS: If the store location map I saw is any indication you may be just down the road a piece from me. The background for your avatar would not be so typical of that area, though.

Store locator is still in the works, but not getting what you mean for the avatar.

We just launched the site 2 weeks ago and got on Google for some of the baby terms.

Didn't notice the logo was pulling the store name instead of keywords.

I have the h2 on the products and are behind in a tabbed menu, so maybe I should swap that back over to being the main tab one page load.

P.S. Thank you for the time you put in reviewing my site.

Take a peek at this page:
    Code:
    http://www.jewlr.com/promise-rings
It is a catalog page that I ran across this evening while doing some research. The niche is fairly competitive, but this page is in the #3 spot. The page is a good example of onpage SEO on a catalog page. I happened to have a keyword list for the phrase in my keyword tool and the content covers most of the words that show up in my list. The content is below the catalog section and well below the fold, so many of their visitors will never even see it, but it gives them a good frame work for their off site SEO as well as taking care of the onpage business. This is an established site with a good backlink profile.

Do you have brick and mortar locations? If you do, but only a few in one geographic area I think that you would be better of just listing store addresses. If you are not at least regional the store locator may frustrate some of your visitors. The store locator shows a map of south Florida. I put a city name near the center of the map and searched for a store within 100 miles without any results. (I have never seen any significant hills in south Florida, hence my comment about the background in the photo.)

Two weeks is no time in the life of a website. If you had a huge backlink profile out there Google would not have found and credited them all in that time frame. It will take time and energy to knock off the established players. As Nemanja said recently, patience is a virtue in this sort of thing.

I figured I have a good 6-8 month battle before I get my "big" keyword to the top. I will just follow everyone's advice and slowly build back links and web presence =) Thanks again for the advice. I'm studying that page you linked.
