If you are talking about the blog commenting systems, there is no link juice for the profile links.If you are giving a link for your site in the posting, then you can get the back links.The profile links will not work for the optimization of your site.

In case of article submission, links coming from author resource box will be counted or not as do follow backlinks for that site?
