Forum owner don’t want their forum get spammed so it’s normal if they’re accepting signature policy to their member.

I also utilize my signature area in some forum but I didn’t treat it as a way to build backlink. I treat it more as a free advertising. By active in the forum, probably a lot of people will see your signature and may click it.

Not like that as link in signature will give you more result, but i can not said that without this it will be declared as spam.
spam depends on content of the post.

Most of the forums are allowing signatures from the start and we don't have to making efforts for getting signature access. But somehow those forums are likely to giving us dofollow access in it. In my point of view nofollow signatures are not enough for making your site backlinks.

well its hardly to say which forum allows signature straight away... i main reason they don't provide option to add signature is not to spam the forum with personal publicity ..

if you are in a forum and forum is not related to your signature or your website what you are promoting than both will hate is one is forum admin and second is google to as every one knows that it will be just for promotion of website and build backlinks ..

but if you are doing it on NICHE background with proper and natural question and answer than no need to worry instead stay happy as you are helping out, targetting niche and best audience and in addition google will also love it and promote it ..

quality forum has their own rules, mostly user must have some post count to get their signature, other wise just paid for premium member.
