Thread: Success With Directories?

Has anyone ever had success from this method?

If you have please share. I have used them in the past and got nothing. Not sure whether to try again!

There is a lot types of web directories. what type of dir You use?
I use this method (with other method ofc) and this works from years

Only really ones on here. What ones do you recommend?

Yea I got some clicks here and there, something you should do on the side is have set spun description, titles etc. Then check out digital point or v7n for new directories and just set a goal of a certain amount to submit to. Like 5-10 directories per day. It works and you could do it after you are done with other linkbuilding, I have gotten a couple backlinks from it and some visitors.

The ones on the forums have a quick approval rate.

I combine directory submission along with blog commenting and other methods...... Till now I've had good success with this ! Depending on dir submissions alone, I don't think is beneficial !

OFC. diserficitation of profile links are alvays the best strategy

with all the spamming of the directories that have been going on for the past few years, I don't think a directory listing holds the same value as before.

See I thought that, it seems like its dead now but who knows it would be nice to get some backlinks out of it and some visitors but it seems very unlikely now

I use directories like article, web, blog and they work for increasing backlink and rank

Yep, same here. Haven't really got any success with directory submissions. Guest posting and commenting always works for me!
