Thread: Why People hire "Directory Submitting" Service?

It seems like these days many people hire "directory submitting" service or SEO who will submit clients website to many directories.

Do real website/business owners know what happens when SEO submit their websites?
Do website owners know what is benefit for hiring this kind of service or are they staying in dark?

Dear website owner,

1) Only those directories approves website for free and submitted by site owner or SEO, becuase they need some links to look active directory. Once directories get popular, have enough links, and people knows that directory... etc. that time directory owner charge little or more money, because they have to pay for hosting, advertisement for their directory, make some profit etc...

2) Once SEO submit to xyz thousands for little money, do you believe such scam?

Best way to do is search list of directories, directory of directories, and submit your website on your own. If you can afford to pay $50 for 10,000 which SEO submit for your site (and result will be ZERO) rather you find list and pay to paid directories $50 every month and get quick result. (or just submit to 2 or 3 paid directories every month by staying in budget.)

3) Also, you can find websites with list and look for latest directory list or directories with PR 0, very low, Alexa rank, very low traffic and these type of directories will approve your website for sure as i said in above #1).

Please feel free to comment on our suggestion to "Website Owner" and we are sure "SEO or Directory Submitting Service" would not like this suggestion, because SEO Service don't want that website owner gets smart.
SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR DIRECTORY SUBMITTING SERVICE AND GET RESULT ON YOUR OWN.

Directory submissions, in my opinion, are one of the most useless types of backlinks you can get, unless you're talking about an inclusion in DMOZ, or yahoo directory.

Save your time and money for better quality backlinks. Directories are useless.

Directories are good if you go for good quality directories...

Auto Approve directories are worth less as they are now the days marked as Link Farms and carry no value in google's eye..

We are agree with "Jalanbk" that if you choose quality directory that is best.

We were not saying in our first post that getting link back from directories, but "Directory Submitter" just submit clients site and there is no 0% changes to get link back if they would submit to popular directories.

Just think that there are many SEO claims that $15 for 1000 directories...come on, no one would approve for free these days or if they approve, they will not stay in business for longer...
