Thread: Keeping your Bookmark Backlinks in one basket? Beware!

Hi. Im going to try to post a honest fact about the net and social bookmarking for newer users and hopefully I wont offend any higher powers.

For over a decade now I have tried to filter through all the hype on the net to find the truth to internet marketing. Ive tried thousands of surf sites, hundreds of GPT (Get Paid To) sites and a endless stream of affiliate sites.

Only to come to one conclusion.

95% of these sites dissapear..

And that goes for directories and social bookmarking sites as well..

If you are new to the net you may not realize that web marketers can create hundreds of directories and social bookmarking sites simply and easily. Think im making it up, g**gle the word (pligg).

So if you are trying to build backlinks through social bookmarks or directory submission sites remember..

They may give you a heck of a deal for 1000 backlinks 10$.. But if the site closes down the month after you pay for it all your links dissapear with their network.. And you may not evin know it for months.

So when building social bookmark backlinks its best to use several different methods and maybe evin manually submit a few yourself..

Just incase one of your link baskets gets dumped.. Good luck!

i agreed, don't be greed when do link building campaign, 1000 links doesn't mean good, sometimes 10 quality links will bring great output than 1000 links

This is a good reason/incentive to consistently search for and build backlinks on as many quality and reputable sites you can find. Backlinks on reputable sites that have been around for a long time and allow people to build backlinks on them are not likely to get randomly deleted. In case some backlinks get deleted in the future, you should still have more than enough to compensate for the losses.

yup, I agree with you.. hmm, social bookmarking our site manually is indeed safer.. but, I also think to use IMT Supercharged Bookmarks.. but, before it, I want to collect money first.. lol!

Make a good tier 1 with social bookmarking and web 2.0's and then blast them.. that's the best option.
