Thread: Auto approve blogs - Is it good for blog commenting

After posting a thread on how to do blog commenting, I came to learn about "auto approve blogs". This has intrigue me and I want to know if ever auto approve blogs are reliable to be used for blog commenting. Because nowadays every site owner is becoming very vigilant as far as commenting is concerned. Some might not approve a comment made on the website be it if the comment is relevant to the post.
Therefore I am wondering if is auto approve blogs good to be used for blog commenting. Does it give success?

One of the purpose of blog commenting is to gain backlinks ...

According to me, auto approve blogs are good for blog commenting and you'll definitely succeed as you're getting a backlink. Many blog owners have enabled moderation to reduce the SPAM comments they receive.

What I don't like about auto approve blogs is that there is a tendency that the blog post you might be commenting will be harmful for your site as the site might be flag for low quality link source because of the number of links it allows.

Most of AA blogs are now completly spammed... But is still a good things i.e for indexing profile list and few other things

It is good for backlinks but most blogs now have moderations on it so you need to find them that don't which is hard. However you need to make the blog comment look authentic not fake looking..

Auto approve blogs do have their advantage and disadvantage. I do think that all the comments need to be done carefully and as you said earlier it is better to comment among the first on the blog. And ofcourse I should always verify if the blog is not banned from Google before posting comments. Am I right?

I do think all this criteria should be checked before even thinking of posting comment on them

Partially right... As I feel there's no such need to verify that the blog is banned from Google ! Just make sure you comment on blogs related to your niche !

Make sure it is not a copy and paste jobby for about 6 or 7 of the same comments on different blogs too!

blog comments are still working today !
just tested it with a niche blog and posted really spammy links (obl > 300) about 120k links to this blog and booom jumped from 5 to #1. all with spammy links.
blog had before about 10k links.

all links were set in 3 days.

memme, how competitive is the keyword that you jumped in rankings for? It seems like there is a lot of variability in results from auto-approve blog posting.

I think the quality of auto approved comment will be poor.
