Is free link exchange service better for Search engine optimization or not. I just got one Free link Exchange service, where user can add their website with their keywords and description of their site too. Does free link exchange system effects Google Page rank?

The drawback is sometimes you don't know what sites are in the system that will be linking to you like in blogroll links. This may be best after you've developed a nice linking profile already or for 2nd tier sites.

Link exchange is done by two ways inbound linking and out bound linking. In inbound linking link is came to your site and in out bound technique your link is goes to other website.

free link exchange may really effect the Google page rank but that may be advantageous or disadvantageous because it only depends on quality of your exchange . In fact sometime exchanges may just be benefit for one part so be careful about that

Link exchange is not very bad all time. But if you exchange your link with site that has no value from google than your site may loss your current pr. So be careful when your are going to exchange your blog with other site
