I got success from the blog comments but not as much as you are considering because only one thing cannot work as well as all.

I have got some traffic to our website through Blog commenting. It is a simple way to popular our website. And get traffic to our website. It is good.

I got bit success with blog commenting but this method can only work as support...you can't be dependent only on blog commenting.

Commenting on Do follow blogs and No follow blogs with top commentator widget support your requirement, but in small amount.

it works, but it is a lot of work.

It will never work if you just visit an article, and write "nice blog, here is my link"

you have to read the article, and write a comment with some substance and be interested.

I have found it works a good bit, as someone rightly pointed out though I read the article and comment on relevant points within it.

Commenting on blog is very essential because Google cached blog faster then website and once your comment is approved you we will get the backlink. Please be careful about spam..

It works great for the links and traffic.

Mixed link building rules and blog commenting is something you shoudn't skip for sure...but you have to do it right. Flooding autoapprove blogs with spam via Scrapebox will get you nowhere, but useful manual comments on high PR pages linking to related sites are great.

Blog commenting is very beneficial, you can get maximum backlinks by blog commenting. Dofollow blogs are very beneficial fro that. You can see instant result withing the two weeks, and I heard Google gives good priority of dofollows blogs.

Success in just using only blog commenting is not only good for any website but doing some more effort like social media and bookmarking and article submission will be good in merger with blog commentings.

Well, I just tested with blogs commenting. It works well. My keywords rank up so quick and high in SERPs. But make sure you leave on related comments and dofollow high PR blogs.

LOL, that's nonsense, how can you make sure you can get 1 visitor?? it depend on many factors, if you comment on high OBL blog, the chances of getting 1 visitor also very difficult

I think he meant the site owner, checking on the link in the comment. If your comment shows quality and that you are knowledgeable on the subject you may get more direct click visitors, but the real reward can be improved search engine position and search traffic.

i am sorry, maybe i misunderstand the statement yes you are right winkor, if you give comment that 'stand out' among each other, people will click your anchor text, wanna know who are you

blog comments are good, but at the present I see that many blog comments are nofollow and approval rate is pretty low as well.

I have found the best way is to use something like scrapebox to find high pr quality blogs in your niche, then visit them and have a quick read of the post and write a unique comment that offers something for the site, instead of a 'great post' useless comment. You are more likely to get approved that way and more likely to be allowed an anchored link.

Writing manual comments on related blogs or posts is a lot more time-consuming but will yield better results in the long run. You will also be contributing to the blog instead of spamming it for your own good.

Blog commenting is quite good for improving rankings for long-tail keywords but not competitive ones, you need better links for those.

I have found some high PR posts in unrelated niches though and commented on those, couldn't help myself! Even found a PR7 post once

Sometime the site owner want you to participate more on certain blog posts before they can just approve the do follow comment, this is because many people just leave the comment for one post only and then disappear forever
