Thread: Getting traffic from blog commenting

I have seen many bloggers who don't target SEO, they just comment valuable comments on other blogs and they get good traffic for their blogs.

I think it is good technique in competitive market as SEO is very competitive so you can use here any competitive keyword and get good traffic from blog commenting but you have to do quality work otherwise, it may not give much benefit.

Another way I think to get better traffic using blogs is blog guesting. I have read once that It can generate traffic and can create backlinks.

you just need to give a comment to such related niche with your blog, by giving awesome comment with good facts and info, people will excited to know who you are, and they will click your anchor text

From my experience don't bother commenting on big blogs, your comment will just get lost in the crowd, and also most big blogs wont let you link anyway.

so keep with the semi-popular blogs, it will help in the long run.

If blog not dofollow and quality page rank It gose to black hat techniques and Google make this as spam and banned the site. so do it carefully

I agree with what you said here. To be able to drive traffic via blog commenting, you need to say something that will spark the interest of everyone else, making you stand out from the crowd. However, what good is a good comment in a sea of 300 other comments? Chances are it will take you forever to get noticed - if your comment gets published, that is. A good way to do blog commenting is to choose blogs that have 10-20 comments and build rapport with the writer and with the other commenters.

Some new methods are combining Google Alert with Yahoo Answer or forums. That's hot and very fresh backlinks.

A more detailed method would be to setup alerts in Google related to your niche, then, as soon as you get an alert, be sure to post a relevant reply. This way you will get a lot of UV from the first hour itself.
I read this method somewhere on another forum, but it sure works, and so thought of sharing it here.

Blogs are good for the traffic and links if they are do-follow and related to your niche.

I guess commenting on semi popular or an A lister blog would not make much of a difference if you post "Great Post" or "Loved this post" there should be a meaningful comment to catch an audience. Some comments get hundreds of like among the ocean of comments. It depends on your ability to stand out from the crowd.

If you leave comment on blogs that are moderated and popular, and comments are related, you will surely get traffic from them for sure.

Blog which have also authentic comment from others and have really quality content with good PR, can generate good backlink.
