Thread: Blog Commenting

I notice that many SEO service providers are into blog commenting. I wonder how effective is this for achieving a good search engine ranking? Any experience to share?

Yeah! I have also noticed that many of SEO service provider is commenting on blog including mine I don't think it help in SEPR. They are trying to promote their business through people's blog.

In my experience blog commenting have great impact on SERP's and if you are commenting on related high PR blogs with low OBL's then your rankings will go up.

I mostly used to comment on high page rank dofollow blogs. Does it can increase my page rank?

Yes for sure, but only if the page where your comment is have not been spammed with hundreds of comments resulting in great number of OBL's, so you will not get much PR juice.

Thanks for this tip! I've been doing blog commenting for SEO. What you said definitely make sense!

From what I've seen, this is a pretty tall order. Even if you do manage to find good blogs that aren't spammed, you can be assured that within a matter of weeks or even days, it will be.

i experienced myself... sometimes what you wrote on the comment will appear as text on SERP results for certain keyword in that comments..

Blog Commenting is one of the most widely used ways of backlinking. A lot of services offer this for that reason. It does help with rankings but this alone won't get you too far. It will help considerbaly but having diversity in your links helps you rank higher and faster. Using bookmarking, article directories and other forms of SEO will help you achieve this.

For a better results, maybe you can select the best blog to comment by yourself, the blog must be high PR and lots of traffic... just be a loyal commentor there, then after a few month you will see a significant change amount of traffic

Blog commenting has proven to be one of the most effective strategies link building, helping you get quick links to your website.

I've used it for my sites and it has been very effective on PR and SERP.

It is indeed effective because they want google to see that they blog or do websites naturally. google doesn't want pure seo. it want more conversations and socialization.

I depends. if you comment a blog, make sure it has high pr so the site has good reputation. and after you comment, make sure it approves, otherwise, it is considered trash.

beside good reputation, you also need to make sure the comment you put must be related to your niche, you also can get targeted traffic

yes no doubt about it if you do blog commenting on do follow link and also high PR.. but in term of get quick result it depend on the level of competition you are targeting for

blog commenting is really effective but you need to have all blog comments approved. and its a long time of waiting.
