Some Questions About Micro Blogging

Hello everyone,

Perhaps I am not using the right lingo but does anyone have tips on micro blogging and a short list of the best sites to use.

Now, I'm not referring to social bookmarking nor am I referring to sites such as Twitter, Facebook, etc.

What I am really looking for is information on creating blogs in places like Blogger in order to post smaller versions of a post already on my main blog. With the express intent of creating more backlinks and perhaps faster indexing although usually my content is listed within' 30 minutes.

Is this a waste of time? Is it worth the effort? And do you have a list of perhaps 5-10 that are the best to create and use?

As per my personal experience, You may sure approach for the same. You can get high PR sites from wikipedia. I have tried this term before app six months and I am still continued with this and I am also generating traffic through these sites.

It will work and will create links, these sites are called web 2.0 properties, etc...
You can search google for list of top web 2.0 services/websites.

Is this stuff like typepad? etc
Or is it blogger?

I always see WEB 2.0 it as a platform that's a mix of social bookmarking and blogging...with reviews etc
