Thread: Article Marketing for Backlinks?

I'm doing great amount of article marketing, but my main purpose is to gain backlinks.
I never had much success in gaining visitors by article marketing, only article marketing tatctics that gained some visitors for me are by submitting to ezinearticles. I have seen some traffic from other article dirs too, but it is same as nothing.
What are your experience in gaining visitors by article marketing?

Have submitted some articles, but never seen some results in terms of visitors, only few backlinks.

For me its no use because I am poor at writing articles, not a very good keyword researcher... These are the some main points that I am missing while writing and promoting it on directories.... Mainly the topic matters, I have submitted 10 articles to different directories but traffic is not good its like 10views a day or two..lol... I have to work hard on this two things.. What do you think?

As I said, I foun article only to be good for link building, I don't bother with the quality very much, I just outsource writing and submit as much as I can, but if article is very good in quality and have some great value it can get picked by many bloggers and website owners, also it can go viral and that is backlink bomb.

article writing and publishing it in your own blog goes well with adsense. I have couple of sites that has good earnings with adsense and they are article based sites. I also noticed that google do love article or its just me. my article sites gain more faster pr than the other ones.. once again.. i dont know if this is a fact or its just me.

Before some weeks, I submitted my article to ezinearticle. And I get approved from approval team. But, I haven't got much visitor from. You don't believe my. That's true I haven't got any visitor from ezinearticles. I can give you link of my article.

I have submitted lots of article but they are not recomeded properly.I think they want more from my side.I have given article on iPhone4 and NFS most wanted pc games

I do article marketing but I do not expect too much from it in so far as driving traffic to my site is concerned. It is more for link building. But I make sure that I have to submit a good article because it can also a good teaser for potential site visitors.

Back linking is one of the major advantages of article marketing…. In addition to driving traffic!

On occasion, I've seen my articles picked up and put on good blogs where they've received traffic. I think it really depends on whether or not you write a good quality, interesting and informative article.

I submit articles to ezine articles and go article for getting backlinks to my sites. A suggested I do put anchor text in my resource box.

Never had much practice with Articles So I stopped bothering about it while ago. I found lot more better result by using that time to create content for my own sites.

I think article writing is kind of like web 2 stuff. If you have a good article and it gets approved you might try building social bookmark links for it. I know google really likes to rank article pages. If you can get your article to rank and people click it on the search result it may improve your traffic to your money site. Just my 2 cents.

Actually article submission is better for backlink. But we can not depend only submitted articles to generate visitors.

I have the same experience Nemanja, mostly article marketing I use to get backlinks (because i think it's more natural). Unless the article is in the top 10, will give visitors too

we can not get much traffic by article marketing .. i do article marketing just to improve my ranking in search engines...
