That is good information however. I never knew a paper of any kind would pick out articles and publish them.

I think you'd be pretty lucky to get an article picked up by a good quality publication. More chance as a result of a press release.

It is not easy that your article picked by a top class article publication site based on an editor approval. However i am not in favor of Article Submission after Google Panda changes.

I'd have to agree with idreesfarooq.

Creating a bunch of free blogs (wordpress.com, blogger.com, etc) with another version of your article or a completely new article with a backlink to your website or original article would have more effect these days. Blogger is Googles blog community, so that's definitely indexed in no-time.

how about submitting to recognize/reputable article directory such as ezine, go articles, and so on just to name a few.. are they gonna harm to according to panda update??

Well I do not know about others but article marketing is working great for me even after panda...

It is true that Panda is hitting Article directories hard but they are not hitting us who getting link from Article directories.

We are still getting good results from article marketing, but because of Panda update several directory owners have lost traffic and they decided to close their article directory...

i think that top article directory such as ezine, goarticle, articledashboard, and much more still not get too much effect on panda update due to all the article human editable approve process and human readable

The only people who visit article directories these days are IM'ers who need content to spin.
No one who's looking for womething specific will read your articles there.

Build your brand on your own blog...that works a lot better.

I agree, but my last comment was about the "branding" aspect.
Definitely you'll still bump on article directories when searching for something.
But...I bet there's only a few articles you'll see on the SERPs 1st page for that keyword, meaning that writer did a good SEO job.

Where did you get that statistic ?

I can assure you that you hardly get any traffic from article directories. It helps your ranking in the search engines and that's where you'll then get your traffic from.
People visiting article directories try to to find information...not author boxes where your link is.

As there are thousands of articles on any topic available it's most unlikely they'll click your author box link...
Look at your own behaviour on internet if you want to find some information...

when a reader follows your website, there is a chance that they might like it and share the articles with other people in the same connection too.
