Thread: Did you noticed?

Did you noticed that most of "other" SEs are using Google SERPs?
Here and there I came across some new or old SEs and almost all of them are using google results for their results.
Also sometimes I noticed that yahoo and bing have very similar results as google, ist that strange?
So one can conclude that we don't have any new alternative out there...
What do you think about this?

Yes its quite correct many other not so popular search engines are using 'Powered by Google'. I guess Google' algorithm is the most reliable one to use.
Do you personally prefer any other search engine than Google?

I am wondering how powerful is google! He is king of internet world!

Yes you're right. But I hope that these changes at Google let other good SEs to rise up and bring a really good algorithm.

I use google still, but I'm seriously trying to find something that will replace it,
because these days with all that "changes" google just doesn't return good results when you search for something.

That's cent percent true .... Lets see if google does something with regard to this in the near future

Really that is. Also sometimes I have see google doesn't return good results. Some time I use bing

Most of those search engines out there are powered by Google or scrape Google result. I think even Live search using to do it (before it had become Bing). Anyone has tried Duck Duck Go or Blekko ?

When I heard about Blekko, I tried it but our minds are set to google...Anything we require or suggest, we just say "Google it".

Exactly our mind is set to google I think It would be very difficult to go out of this circle

I liked google alot some 6 years back, now I don't prefer searching on google... I use torrentz for downloads... Wiki, bing & Y! for getting information related search!

This is soooo true, it is like a spell

it looks like we don't have any other choice.. sometimes.. i feel that.. or thinking like.. if google want to erase all the certain indexation site.. it can do in just split of second

Since we have no choice other than Google, and, frankly speaking we are suffering with this one SE Monoply with all those recent updates and algorithm.............I need an alternative seirously

Google is best and biggest search engine and its true that many search engines are powered by Google.

Maybe I'm the only one, but I use "DuckDuckGo" as my SE. Google doesn't need me.

well not exactly true .. bing also has partnership with many search engine .. and a big name with bing is facebook search result .. but major like ask.com are associated with google ..

well this happens rarely and almost never happens in result of usa as if you are based in usa than bing and google both have there different business listing ..

I am waiting for the day, another search engine will cut google his chair..... nothing from human made is lasting for ever, anytime any other is coming....
but for that new coming, the pc and phone evolution may need to go a bit ahead, and than another one is coming.

We cannot say it's perfect result show on google it's relevent insted of others Serch Engines it's my personal thinking
