Thread: How to check your position on search engine

I have a bookmark folder in Chrome, which I open in Incognito - the bookmarks are the search results of my chosen keyword, on a chosen page of Google results. I can then open all tabs in 1 click and get the results by shifting through the pages.

Of course if the ranking position changes I may have to go through a couple of pages (hopefully up not down!) This is ok for a few keywords. For the bulk of the lot I use Traffic Travis. Seems ok. Updates them once a day which is more than enough.

Online you have seoscout. It's a good one for free, you can add up to 10 keywords.

There is a SERP checker tool here. I typically use the Rank Checker tool from SEOBook.com, which is a Firefox plugin. You can check up to a hundred keywords at a time, but I would set the delay between each keyword to about 15 seconds. Otherwise Google will detect it. They won't penalize your site, but they will block you from doing searches until you solve a CAPTCHA.

The best you can do it in a manual way (for few keywords). Also for checking your ranks in other locations you can use proxy servers. Sometimes I use Position Checker tool from WebToolHub.com. You can also give it a try.

Rank Checker in FF as well. I've had success with 3 second delay. I've been using the SERP tool here for the superstar keywords and some new ones I'm working one. It's nice to see the up/down stats. This was the great thing about Market Samurai before.

Has anyone tried rank checker with proxy switching app? I wonder if you'd get CAPTCHA'd less. Also, think there's a one time fee visual aid software that runs in the backround of your pc and busts them when they occur. I'll look into it one of these days because I really like Rank Checker, but can't sit there and babysit it.

I use easyseotracking.com and seoserp.com to look my sites position in SERP.

There are lot of tools available online for check search engine ranking. I suggest to use raventools and webceo for keywords ranking.

You just check with Google search engine easily.open Google page and press CTRL+F then place your site URL in that box of find and then put your site keyword in Google search Box.Click on next Button which is near to your website URL.Best of Luck!!

It's very easy to check your site ranking on Google by putting some efforts.You just fill your Site URL on Google Find Box then Put keywords which is related to same Site URL.It shows every thing,try it!

Yes you are absolutely right.This is a manual process to find your keywords ranking on search engine.
