Thread: Made blogs comment dofollow good or bad?

I have made my blog's comment dofollow by removing "rel nofollow". Will it harm to my blog. Or do I need to face any other problem? What is your experience about this?

i've seen dofollow, auto approve comment blog has thousands of comments in every post, most of them was spam.

Don't be so sure about the traffic. Nearly all spam comments are placed by comment bots. The commenter never even visits the site. Akismet will catch most, but not all, of these.

I think it will not hurt, as long as you remove spam and comments are on topic.

I use do follow on all my external links - read somewhere that Google prefers to see this

it depends on what it is about, just a informative site don´t need comments, other site it is your personal religion, but dofollow blogs need to check the new comments for spam, so it takes much of time

Try to get both types link nofollow and dofollow. If you build only dofollow link it can harm in future.

It will attract spam that's for sure. I think what you should do is let registered users links doFollow. This way only those who really contribute something will about get doFollow link benefit.

Nofollow links are good to? is it because it shows a natural order?

Get natural backlinks, mixe the 2 kinds, do & nofollow. nofollow > dofollow.
Google is inversing the seo game.
